UPDATE: Went back two days later, and I change my mind, it's better than the two taquerias we visited in Vegas. Get the birria tacos, and go back the next day and do it again. Wow! Best taco experience I’ve had since Las Vegas (where we went outside of the strip to find legit Mexican eateries). And it’s in Kingston, how lucky! And the fact it’s down an alley, and you knock on a window to get your food, makes it all the better. Can’t wait to go back. Thank You!
Easily the best tacos in Kingston, definitely top 5 I’ve ever had. Don’t let the location fool you. These are classic tacos made extremely well. High quality ingredients, well balanced, and prepared to near perfection. The owner and staff are all incredibly friendly and happy to explain anything. I hope they get a sit down location soon but I don’t know if that would lose some of the charm.
You can't find a taco restaurant from belleville to brockville better than this. Trust me. Probably the best tacos I've ever had in Canada. Honestly doesn't get much better than this in Mexico either tbh.
What a great little *literal* hole in the wall. The service is friendly and the atmosphere of Mexican music is really enjoyable while you wait. The tacos are huge, and very delicious. All of the salsas, guac, etc. are provided on the side. The bean dip is also very yummy, a huge portion and the chips that come with it are absolutely fantastic. Very happy, and will be back again!
Best tacos in Kingston, by far!! These are authentic Mexican tacos. You won’t be disappointed! Everything I have had on the menu has been incredibly delicious. The staff and owners are so kind, generous and friendly. This is my go-to eat out meal. If you’re just stopping by Kingston for a visit I would definitely recommend eating here!
Looking for authentic Mexican, this is the place. We had the mix and match 4 tacos, and they were so yummy, the best I've had outside of Mexico. Love that it's a little pickup window in the alleyway. The service was very friendly! Love that it was so close to the hotel. I forgot to take a picture of my spouses tacos! He had the chicken and beef and mine was pork and I think beef either way it was very good. The price point is great. 21 for 4 can't beat that.
Found this gem thanks to reddit, Their food is absolutely amazing. They dont skimp on the meat and everything is perfectly seasoned. Got their birria tacos and I can confirm that they are the best in the city! 2 thumbs up for el gringo!
Great place with savoury tacos. I bought 6 birria tacos to share with friends that all came with consume. From the freshly made corn soft taco shells to the cheese and seasoned meat & consume , it was delicious. Prices were fair, food prepared quickly and presented nicely.
